A friend turned me on to this game after he became burnt out on D3 because of the brokenness. Its its another Diablo like game but its has a lot of different progression systems and they work very well together. All skills in the game are gems you put in your gear which level up with you so you have a lot of flexibility with your skills. Also their talent system is like FFX where everyone shares a huge grid of choices. Depending on what class you pick you start in a different spot, so the classes have meaning but they don't fully define your character. They had an open beta test this weekend and it was pretty fun, combat isn't as frantic as D3 but still very engaging.

The game will be F2P when it comes out, but if you pay 10 bucks now you get a beta key and some money for their cash shop when it opens. If you're looking for another hack'n'slash before torchlight 2 comes out check it out.

Basically after 2 months of being live its shutting down already. I doubt there is much they could have done but it seems pretty shitty that 2 months after you bought a game you won't be able to play it any more. That's not to mention all the copies that are on store shelves still that might be bought in the next couple weeks. I would be very pissed if I had just bought the game. Also LOL at yesterdays post which said there was a patch coming out today for it and instead you get to find out the game is shutting down. I wonder if some other company with pick it up in the fire sale of Realtime Worlds.

Onlive is something that has been in the works for a while. Basically its like streaming Netflix but for video games. Since e3 is going if you sign up today(6/15) to be a "founding member" you have a chance to get the first year free. You don't have to pay or anything just sign up like you would for a forum, your name, your e-mail ect. If anyone is interested you should check it out, www.onlive.com is their website.

We will be working on achievements for the next week or two to get as many people as possible their ICC25 drakes. Please post here which achievements you need so we can swap you in as needed. If you don't post here what you need we'll assume you don't care about getting the drake. Posting doesn't guarantee you a spot but we'll do the best we can to accommodate everyone.

my duel spec is a pvp mute / sub but i have 2 good mute daggers so i could make a mute spec but i here its boring

Since we had to stop early last night I wanted to try and finish it tonight at 10. Most people said they could make it then. Try and be on if you can and we'll see if we can finish.

General Discussion / ICC/ToC25 @ 6pm sat. every week

So now its official. Unless I state otherwise I'll be doing this every week at the time posted. Casual raiding members will get priority on loot, this excludes trial members.

I'll get people in the raid in this priority Raiding Mains -> alts/mascots -> friends of guild mates not in the guild/PUGs. For the people that don't make it in I'll do my best to get them in the following week. This is all assuming we have proper make up as well, 2 tanks/6 healers/ 17 dps give or take a healer.

I'll be running ICC first on these nights and we'll so how we do. We had problems on ladydeath whisper this week becuase of lack of DPS/gear. Judging on how well we're doing we'll go over to ToC25 after for people still interested. That's assuming there isn't a different ToC25 run planed for sometime in the week.

I'm going to be running a toc10 tomorrow morning at 11am for people's alts and what not that haven't done it yet. We tried tonight but 3 priests wasn't the ideal healer setup for it so if you have a healer alt we could use you.

They played this at comic-con but I didn't make it in to the panel to watch it. If you like venture bros watch this clip it has some great moments from the next season in it. I can't wait for it.

Changes that should be in the next beta push. Bear in mind that some of these may change somewhat or entirely, and there may also be other changes coming in subsequent pushes:

Orc
- Hardiness now reduces the duration of stun effects by 15%

Troll
- Racial Passive "The Voodoo Shuffle": Reduces the duration of all movement impairing effects by 15%. Trolls be flippin' out mon!

- Berserking: no longer has an activation cost of energy/rage/etc

Draenei
- Gift of the Naaru: now scales based on the higher of either the caster's Attack Power or Spell Power

- Shadow Resistance: reduces the chance to be hit by Shadow spells by 2%

Dwarf
- Frost Resistance: reduces the chance to be hit by Frost spells by 2%

- Racial Passive "Mace Specialization": Expertise with Maces and Two-Handed Maces increased by 5.

Undead
- Shadow Resistance: reduces the chance to be hit by Shadow spells by 1% (yes, this is lower than the other resistance racials)

- Will of the Forsaken: removes any fear, sleep, or charm effect (no longer has a lasting immunity).

Night Elf
- Quickness: reduces the chance to be hit by melee or ranged attacks by 2%

- Nature Resistance: reduces the chance to be hit by Nature spells by 3%

Tauren
- Endurance: now scales based on base health, to be tuned to approximately a 5% heath increase if the player were wearing green quality gear

- Nature Resistance: reduces the chance to be hit by Nature spells by 2%

Gnome
- Escape Artist: the freeing effect can no longer be resisted

- Arcane Resistance: reduces the chance to be hit by Arcane spells by 2%

Blood Elf
- Mana Tap: ability removed (partially integrated into Arcane Torrent)

- Arcane Torrent: restores 15 energy, 15 runic power, or 6% of mana to the Blood Elf (along with the current 2s silence effect)

- Magic Resistance: reduces the chance to be hit by spells by 2%

Human
- Perception: changed to a passive, now grants one character level of passive stealth detection

- Racial "The Fall of Humanity": Feign death which may trick enemies into ignoring you. Any threat is restored versus enemies still in combat upon cancellation of this effect. 5min cooldown

- Racial Passive "Human Supremacy": The dominance of Humanity is evidenced by having one more racial bonus than normal. Actually, make that two counting this one. (just a tooltip, no actual functionality)

- The Human Spirit: spirit bonus lowered to 5%

Yep, I forgot to list the Draenei Shadow resist change (-2% chance for shadow spells to hit you)

I also forgot to list that the lasting immunity has been removed from WotF

Also forgot to add Mace Specialization for Dwarves and magic resistance for BE

This will be a huge change for pvp. Most notable are perception is no longer going to help you find rouges as easy as before and WotF won't have the immunity effect after its cast. Belfs are still overpowered with a 2% resist aginst all spells where everyone else gets 1-3%.
