hard to make it down to NYC with any regularity (~3.5 hr trip). my next trip will probably be for derrick carter + mark farina @ that new club that I think the people from Sullivan room own (District 36 I think it's called). I've seen Wolfgang Gartner a few times, and the sets are good, but not worth it since I usually can catch Hot Pink Delorean or other such electro locals at Rise in Boston. hard to find real deal funky or deep house music in Boston, though, so I'll travel for that. http://d36nyc.com/2011/01/0129-basic-nyc-mark-farina-derrick-carter-2/

Definitely the best Star Trek movie, that just isn't saying much. Go in with low expectation and be pleasently surprised is the best route
