Otherwise known as: holy shit, it's 6 am? Meh... just one. more. turn.

They tweaked a lot of things from Civ4, grid is now a hex, only 1 military unit and 1 civilian unit allowed per tile, and happiness is global to the empire rather than on a per city basis.

Zombies, gore, gratuitous fan service. Being simucast in Japan and on the Anime Network.

Episode 1 was pretty spiffy, good production quality, although the fan service does get distracting sometimes.
Will have to see if the animation holds up after episode 2, plot looks to be fairly standard survival-horror L4Desque.

The saving grace about the genre that keeps you from going completely insane is that your hitbox is insanely small (smaller than your character model and usually only a few pixels wide).
