only been down to DC for a couple of parties in my time, and never at Fur. too much of a hike to do in a night, but too close to justify a hotel, so it's just an awkward distance. heard it's huge, like 2k+ capacity; lemme know how it is.
I'm pumped now for that CLR night though.

some of my favorite adam beyer podcasts are Slam (DCR053), Adam Beyer's two studio mixes from around then (DCR050, DCR052), Joseph Capriati (DCR046), and Dustin Zahn (DCR038).

DAN I'm glad you asked. best stuff is probably adam beyer's podcast. it's the most consistent: http://www.mixcloud.com/adambeyer/Umek's podcasts are a bit less consistent. Some of the guest mixes (Spartaque, for example) are fuccin bananas, though. Good place to poach tracks. Umek himself has a more of a "radio-friend" podcast with breaks between tracks, explanations, etc, but LOTS of good tracks there, too: http://www.mixcloud.com/dj_umek/Dave Clarke's is less structured, a bit harder to sift through, but lots of really really unknown shit featured there. Also worth checking out: http://weblogs.vpro.nl/whitenoise/Lastly, but definitely not leastly, is Chris Liebing's CLR podcast. This is another podcast that's very consistent, even across guest mixes. The one I liked the most recently was 133 | Robert Hood. http://www.clr.net/media.pl

umek was nasty at rise. this year's zoo lineup looks unfuckingbelievable, too, so I don't recommend missing it.

deep house is usually either pretty good/subtle/interesting, or it's horribly boring. check out someone like deep dish or like fred everything, maybe.
